If you are anything like me, there are days when my muscles and joints seem to just ache. And not from a strenuous day at the gym, but from everyday use. I mean it’s like I turned forty, and wow, my body started to change! It now takes me a whole day just to recover from “leg day” at the gym! And taking laundry up and down the stairs, this has now become a tab bit more work than before. I really don’t remember feeling like this when I was in my thirties, I was able to bounce right back, no problem. But, with a few more years added, so is the muscle and joint use, and so is the fatigue and pain.

Since I don’t like to be in pain, I became a woman on a mission, to find a natural product that could help with my aches, pains, and ailments. That is when a friend introduced me to CBD hemp oil and wow, I felt like SuperWoman from the first dose and application!

And again, if you were anything like me, I didn’t have a clue what CBD Hemp Oil was before I started using it faithfully and daily, so don’t feel too bad if you don’t either. As a matter of fact, informal polling has suggested that there are many people who have never even hear of it, along with many others who are vaguely familiar with it, and may have even used it themselves or know someone who has, but still don’t really seem to know exactly what it is and what benefits it can help them with.

Well, have no fear, I am going to clear it all up for you with this article, and share with you what CBD Hemp Oil can do to help you with your aches, pains and ailments.

What in the world is CBD anyway?

(CBD) or Cannabidiol is a naturally occurring cannabinoid compound that is found in the cannabis plant. Wow, that was a tongue twister! Simply put, cannabis oil (CBD) is the concentrated liquid extract of the cannabis plant.

The cannabis plant contains over one hundred different chemical compounds known as cannabinoids, and these cannabinoids have been researched and found to interact with the human Endocannabinoid System, yes, we actually have one, it was discovered in the 90s and experts agree that there are two types of cannabinoid receptors (CB1) and (CB2). These neurons act as a lock and key, with CBD hemp oil being the key and the cannabinoid receptors being the lock.

So, how does it work together as a lock and key? Well, CBD is a non-psycoactive compound, which means that is will not get you “high”, but it does have a tremendous amount of neuro connecting “magnets” that connect with the body’s receptors, and when this occurs, the health benefits begin.

Will CBD help ease my pain?

We are on the verge of a CBD explosion and the U.S. market alone is estimated to be worth $2.1 billion by 2020, but why? Well, there is evidence (some scientific, and plenty of anecdotal) that this “miracle oil” can help with many health concerns, such as epileptic seizures, PTSD, arthritis, anxiety, insomnia, nausea, chronic pain, depression, migraines, opioid addiction, autism, and much, much more.

People are turning to CBD to manage their physical pain, debilitating headaches, sleep disorders, skin issues, and the list goes on. The reason it seems to help so well is because of the neuron connections that are made as well as CBD’s anti-anxiety and anti-inflammatory properties.

The research is underway, with new findings all the time, but here are a few that researchers are preforming now…..how CBD helps patients with PTSD, alcohol abuse, opioid addiction, epilepsy, Alzheimer’s, Cancer-related side effects, and more.

So, to answer the question, will it help ease your pain……in my opinion, yes, it’s worth a shot, there are little to no known side effects, except minor things like dry mouth and diarrhea, but the health benefits are worth everything if it can ease a chronic back ache, clear the “brain fog”, help you to get some sleep, and keep you calm in traffic, etc.

But, I am not a medical professional, and it is always wise to contact your Doctor before starting an alternative health routine, they just want to make sure that you are safe too (had to throw in my small disclaimer), but just as a quick testimony, CBD oil has been my “saving grace”, I have suffered from major migraines, anxiety, and depression for many years, and since I started using CBD oil, all of these ailments have been lessened and diminished. So again, it’s worth a shot!

How do you take CBD?

There are typically four different ways to get cannabis into your system, you can choose how to take CBD based on your health, lifestyle, and goals.

  1. INHALATION–This method would be good for those with some vaping experience. Vaping Cannabidiol enters the lungs and is diffused into the bloodstream rather quickly, bypassing the liver. It is the most efficient CBD delivery system, because more of the product can enter. CBD oil for inhalation is usually available in the form of a vaporizer e-juice.
  2. TOPICAL APPLICATION–CBD infused creams, lotions, and slaves are hitting the market like crazy, because they are typically made for local pain relief and healing. Facial creams that are infused, are hydrating and anti-aging because they work only on the uppermost layer of skin, so cannabidiol does not enter the bloodstream. Shampoos, soaps, and soaks containing hemp are also good for general health and are available.
  3. SUBLINGUAL–Pure CBD oil, concentrates, and tinctures can be taken sublingually (under the tongue.) This method allows the compound to be absorbed by the capillaries in the mucous membranes, and goes directly into the bloodstream. After swallowing, it goes into digestion which can have both immediate and long-lasting relief.
  4. INGESTION–Probably the easiest way to deliver CBD into the body is to ingest it. Swallowing the compound oil allows it to pass through the digestive system and metabolize within the liver. This form comes in many different products like capsules, candy, food, beverages and more.

Is taking CBD safe?

Well, let me start by disclaiming, I’m not a doctor and I’m not knowledgeable about your particular health concern, so you would really need to get your medical advice from your doctor. However, what I can tell you is that typically, its virtually impossible to take too much CBD, and there have been no known side effects documented, other than very slight issues like drowsiness, and dry mouth.

But, taking too much of a good thing could be a problem, as an example, let’s say spinach, a person would have to take an unimaginable amount of it to have a real problem, and the same it true with CBD or pretty much anything.

What I find interesting is that researchers have found no major or significant side effects on the vital signs, mood, or central nervous system, even among those who use high amounts. So, if you do begin to use the oil, little amounts during the day, either sublingually, or ingested is what I believe to be the best use of the products for amazing results.

CBD oil and pain….Where can I find it to relieve mine?

The CBD market is just beginning to explode, and with that there are a number of companies that want to join the party for financial reasons, but what I can tell you, with that, quality may suffer, pushing products too quickly onto shelves without quality control and high standards, may mean that there will be low grade products available for low cost. Not something that most people want to consume.

I have done my due diligence when it comes to products that I use myself, and that I give to my family, and I only want the same for my readers.
