We’ve all had a case of anxiety, it’s part of our human make-up, and it’s normal to feel anxious about an important decision, or when facing a large problem, but anxiety disorders are much more involved than just a case of temporary worry or fear.

For those who live with an anxiety disorder, the worry or fear doesn’t just go away, and can actually become worse over time, interfering with their daily lives, job performances, school work, and relationships.

There are several different types of anxiety disorders, and in this article I plan to explain them all, as well as share the benefits of using CBD hemp oil and how doing so may restore some balance and tranquility back into the lives of those who suffer with any sort of anxiety or anxiety disorder.

Anxiety and Anxiety Disorders….What Are The Different Types?

There are many different types of anxiety and anxiety disorders, and they all range from generalized anxiety, all the way to phobia-related disorders. Read on to learn more about each one.

Generalized Anxiety Disorder

People who suffer with (GAD) or General Anxiety Disorder can usually experience symptoms of excessive worry or anxiety for many days, up to many months, with personal health, social interactions, work, and life circumstances usually being the cause of the stress. This disorder can significantly cause them problems with all areas of their life, from social interactions, to work and school.

Some symptoms of General Anxiety Disorder may include:

  • Irritation
  • Muscle Tension
  • Fatigue
  • Feeling “on-edge” or “wound-up”
  • Difficulty concentrating or focusing
  • Sleep issues (falling or staying asleep)
  • Restlessness
  • Large amounts of worry and stress

Panic Disorder or Panic Attacks

Those who suffer from a panic attack, usually experience a sudden, intense fear about an object, or situation that can come on very quickly and reach a high level of internal stress within minutes. Leaving the person with an accelerated heartbeat, heart palpitations, sweating, trembling, shortness of breath, or a feeling of being “out of control.”

People who suffer with panic attacks often worry about when the next one will occur, and they will actively do their best to prevent future attacks by avoiding certain places, situations and people. This can cause many problems for those that suffer and impact their day lives immensely.

The next disorder is Phobia-Related Disorders

A phobia is an intense fear to a specific object or situation. Having a phobia-related disorder is different that being anxious or nervous about something, having a phobia-related disorder may have irrational or excessive thoughts about encountering a certain fear, person, or situation, and they take many steps to avoid facing the fear or situation.

There are many types of phobia-related disorders, sometimes called (phobias) that people experience such as flying, heights, needles, spiders, blood, snakes, etc. Again, phobia-related disorders are a fear of something, someone, or a situation and people will try to avoid them at all costs. Unfortunately, this leaves them living fearful and having more anxiety, which can cause them more problems.

Another Disorder is a Social Anxiety Disorder

Social Anxiety Disorder or Social Phobia, is an intense fear of any sort of social interaction or performance. Those that suffer from this type worry that their actions or behaviors will be viewed negatively and leave them feeling shy and embarrassed. They tend to avoid any sort of social situation, that can quickly manifest into a full range of negative emotions, leaving them stressed and nervous.

One of the most intense Social Anxiety Disorder is Agoraphobia. This phobia is defined as a person with an intense fear of two or more of the following situations:

  • Being outside of the home alone
  • Standing in line or being in a crowd
  • Being in an open space
  • Using public transportation
  • Being in an enclosed space

People with Agoraphobia will often avoid these situations, because they believe that it might be hard or even impossible to leave if they start to have panic-like reactions or any embarrassing side effects. People with severe Agoraphobia can easily become housebound, due to the severity of the anxiety that they feel.

Separation Disorder and CBD

Separation Anxiety Disorder

Separation Disorder is often thought of as something that small children and possibly pets feel, however, adults can also experience and be diagnosed with it as well. People with separation disorder deal with fears of being apart from the people with whom they are attached to, and often worry that harm or something “bad” will happen to them while they are away.

This fear can lead to them to feeling like being separated from someone or something, will leave them all alone. Those who suffer with separation anxiety may experience nightmares and suffer physical symptoms when any sort of separation may occur.

These are a just a few of the anxiety disorders that many people face, and just a brief overview of each one, but, if you know someone who suffers, or if you suffer yourself, know exactly what sort of anxiety that they, or yourself face, and how the feelings of internal distress can cause major problems in everyday life.

I personally suffer from an anxiety disorder and I have panic attacks quite often, so, I know firsthand how they feel and how it has affected my life. I was on the search for something to help alleviate my issues, that is when a friend told me about hemp CBD oil and how it helped her, I knew I needed to research it and eventually try it out for myself, and honestly, it has been one of the best choices to my health that I have made in a very long time.

I am able to calm my nerves and my sever panic attacks have gone down to just a few every couple of months. I am completely happy with my results, especially since I have been on many pharmaceutical medications over the years, to try to ease my symptoms, but I felt like a zombie and I felt like I was missing out on my life, while I was taking them.

So, I decided to try CBD hemp oil for my anxiety, and I can honestly say, it has been the number one thing that has helped me with my fear of driving, fear of public places, eased my nerves, and calmed my emotions, I am now a firm believer and I am so happy to have my life back!

Everyone Is Talking About CBD Oil….What Does It Do Exactly?

CBD Hemp oil for anxiety does many complex things for the brain, like encouraging relaxation and happiness, even though there is not enough psychoactive THC to make a person “high”, a user can still feel a slight calming effect.

CBD has been studied and shown to lower neurons in the hippo campus region of the brain, and why this is good, is because, when a person is experiencing an anxiety episode, the hippo campus fires more neurons, but CBD can help by lowering them, reliving the anxiety as a side effect.

When taking CBD Oil, it can activate receptors, which in turn activates the neurotransmitters’ dopamine and glutamate, both of which help to regulate our emotions and release feelings of pleasure and reward, instead of stress and anxiety.

How Do You Take CBD Oil…..And How Much Is Enough?

CBD Hemp Oil for anxiety is usually administered in three different ways, inhaling, swallowing, and topically. And since there have been no know or proven side effects, except for small things like diarrhea, or sleepiness, it may be a beneficial alternative in helping those who suffer from anxiety disorders, like it did me.

Inhaling CBD Oil

Vaping CBD Oil has become a very popular method for ingesting CBD, but to vape CBD oil, you need a vape pen.

How this works is, you would place a few drops of oil into the coils and inhale, you need special CBD e-juice for vaping, but it is very easy to find as a CBD oil tincture.

As far at the amount you should use, this needs to be done with trial and error, but follow the instructions on the packages when you begin, then you can increase your dosage if needed.

The benefit of vaping CBD oil, is that you will immediately feel the effects as it absorbs quickly into the lungs, which absorbs it, and then it can enter into the bloodstream almost immediately.

Swallowing CBD Oil

Swallowing CBD hemp oil is the preferred way to ingest it, as it is easy to swallow and you don’t need a vaping device to do so. There are a few ways to do this, and they are: with a tincture, a spray, an edible, or a pill.

If you decide to use a tincture or a spray and place it sublingual (under your tongue), hold it for a few seconds, then swallow, it does hit the bloodstream almost immediately.

Whereas pills and edibles take a bit longer, the oil has to go through your digestive system then move into your bloodstream, it may take about an hour before the benefits are felt, but its effects do seem to last longer.

Topical CBD

Using CBD topically on the skin, doesn’t quite have the same benefits as taking it internally, but it is effective in anti-aging and pain. Many of the creams now, that are infused with CBD hemp oil are lightweight, and feel good on the skin, so they are nice to have, and can help to elevate skin issues, and muscle aches.

CBD Is Changing People’s Lives….Can It Do The Same For You?

For those that suffer with any type of anxiety disorder, finding health benefits without the psychoactive properties is very important, and CBD oil can help to give these benefits without the worry of getting “high” as it is different that marijuana, but has many of the same healing properties.

CBD is a safe and natural alternative to prescription drugs, and may be the answer that you have been searching for to help alleviate any form of anxiety that you have, and simply by taking CBD, it has shown to decrease anxiety disorders over time.

I always make sure to make a disclaimer, that I am not a medical professional, and it is always best to chat with your provider before you start any alternative therapy.
